Sorry, the Gym is  Closed

by Chase Morgan

Every morning, hundreds of kids come into Ashland Middle School and there isn't enough room in the lunch room or the auditorium to seat everyone.

One solution to the over-crowding is to allow more students into the gym where there is room for the whole student body to sit and walk.

The gym can accommodate the entire student body. When it is time to leave, students could be dismissed by grade in an orderly manner.

     Problem solved!

Running Out of Food?!

Late Buses?

by Destiny Squirewell

Have you ever noticed that some days we simply run out of a certain lunch food? Well, it has happened to the 8th grade during the third lunch.

Some days, during lunch, there will be two choices of food, but not for the 8th grade. The 8th grade gets the last lunch.

Eighth graders feel that it's unfair when they see something they like on the menu, but cannot get it because someone took the last one.

Hopefully, the problem will be corrected in the future!

Students are rushing to get ready everyday so they're never late to get to the bus, right? But when they get to the bus stop, the bus takes forever to get there. This has been a problem for many students and parents.

If a student rides a bus, chances are they're probably always late getting to school. Sometimes, it takes forever to get home. Late buses are cutting into students breakfast and giving us less time to eat.

This may be one of the reasons students skip breakfast. Buses should get to school on time everyday and should not make you late getting home.
